Anti Crash System
DRIVER REVERSE ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
ACS unit alerts the operator when the MHE comes close
to an obstacle.
ANTI CRASH SYSTEM (ACS)
The anti-crash system consists of a sensor that are mounted on a side of the MHE. Multiple ACS nodes can
be put on the MHE to ensure that there is no blind spot. Depending on the MHE model, the machine can be
configured to automatically slow down or stop as soon as it comes too close to an obstacle.
01
MOUNT THE CAS NODE ON MHE 1
ACS node is mounted on the MHE on
whichever side we want to prevent a collision
from happening
02
ADJUST THE ANGLE
The angle at which ACS is mounted is on the
MHE to provide the best coverage for the MHE
03
CONFIGURE THE DISTANCE
The alert and emergency distances can be set
between 0 to 10 m using a smartphone app
Configuration
NEAR ZONE
When an MHE detects an obstacle within its
safety zone, the driver is immediately warned
about the potential risk by activation of a light
and/or buzzer.
EMERGENCY ZONE
If the speed limiting or stopping capability is
available, the Anti Crash System (ACS) unit can
be wired in to slow down or stop the MHE on
detection.
