Machine-Machine Collision Avoidance
COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM
Our Collision Avoidance System (CAS) cautions forklift
drivers of the presence of another truck at a settable
distance between 0-10 meters.
The Collision avoidance system consists of CAS nodes that are mounted on both the MHEs. Multiple CAS
nodes (generally more than 4) are put on the MHE to ensure that there is no blind spot. Depending on the
MHE model, the machine can be configured to automatically slow down or stop as soon as another MHE
comes too close.

CONFIGURE THE DISTANCE
The alert and emergency distances can be set
between 0 to 10 m using a smartphone app
Configuration
NEAR ZONE
When an MHE detects another MHE within its
safety zone, the driver is immediately warned
about the potential risk by activation of a light
and/or buzzer.
EMERGENCY ZONE
If the speed limiting or stopping capability is
available, the Pedestrian Alert System (PAS)
unit can be wired in to slow down or stop the
MHE on detection.
